Ways we help

The Gold Coast Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to ensuring our community has access to the best possible health care when it is needed most.

Receiving no government support, we rely entirely on generous donations from our community, ensuring every dollar stays right here on the Gold Coast, supporting vital medical equipment and crucial services for those suffering critical health challenges.

Every dollar stays right here on the Gold Coast supporting our local health services where it matters most!

A health crisis can strike at anytime, leaving some facing the fight of their life. The Gold Coast Hospital Foundation steps in to fund vital medical equipment in areas of greatest need, ensuring our community has access to the best possible health care when it is needed most. From Children's Critical Care to ICU, Emergency, Oncology and more, your support helps us enhance health outcomes and save lives.

Last year the Foundation funded over 160 peices of medical equipment for our local health services.

When cancer hits, it's not just the illness - it's the relentless treatments, the countless appointments and the struggle to get there.

For many on the Gold Coast, transport is a barrier to life-saving care. Our Cancer Patient Transport Service is a critical lifeline, providing 2,000 local patients each year with reliable access to treatments like radiation and chemotherapy.

With your supprot we can continue to ensure no one misses out on the care they need during one of life's toughest journeys.

In an instant, life can change. When a loved one is fighting for life in ICU, the last thing families should worry about is finding a place to stay.

During these critical moments, the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation provides emergency accommodation, helping over 100 families each year stay close by.

Your support eases their burden, allowing them to focus on what truly matters - being there for their loved ones.

For many in our community, unexplored medical treatments mean prolonged suffering or uncertain outcomes. The Gold Coast Hospital Foundation is working to change this by funding breakthrough research focused on critical health conditions.

With your support, we aim to fast-track discoveries that can help babies, children and adults access treatments and solutions that can help change their outcomes.
Waiting in the hospital can be one of life's most vulnerable experiences, filled with uncertainty and worry. To help ease this, the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation is transforming hospital spaces into more comforting environments, with soothing wall murals and soft furnishings.

These enhancements create welcoming spaces, providing solace and support to patients and families as they navigate critical health moments. Through these efforts, we aim to make each visit feel a little warmer, helping to relieve some of the heartache and stress during challenging times.
Every day, our frontline health teams face intense pressure, placed in high pressure situations where patient outcomes rest in their hands. In these moments having the best possible training to rely on is vitial.

By helping to elevate the knowledge and skills of our medical staff and other key areas of the health service, we not only help improve the quality of care provided to patients, we also support our dedicated staff in acheiving their professional goals. Each year the foundation helps over 25 staff members advance their skills.
